Piano Roll and Canon

Any Resident Evil fans out there? Upon transcribing this piece, I felt it had a nice Baroque sound, so I ventured a bit further. I composed a canon using the ground bass from “Piano Roll” a piece of incidental music by Takeshi Miura. The music is featured in the video game Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (Playstation 2).

Measures 37 and 38 (1:05) gave me the most trouble because the interval of separation is a second, while the melodic interval between the two main ground bass notes of these two bars is a third. So in order to maintain the integrity of the canon form, I had to use quite a few suspensions which caused some dissonance.
